SMS Terms
These terms apply when a family turns on optional SMS notifications for a loved one.
Effective July 26, 2026Veralore SMS text message nudges are optional family memory notifications. If enabled, Veralore may text a loved one when a family member sends a new photo, question, or story prompt.
Messages are informational and relate to the family memory service. Veralore does not use loved-one SMS nudges for third-party marketing.
By turning on SMS nudges or providing a mobile number for SMS nudges, you represent that the recipient has agreed to receive Veralore text messages at that number.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing or using Veralore.
You agree not to provide a phone number for any person who has not authorized Veralore messages.
Message frequency varies based on family activity. A recipient may receive a text when a family member sends a new prompt or when service-related SMS activity is required.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to the recipient's mobile carrier.
A recipient may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a Veralore text message.
The family administrator may also turn off text nudges from the family phone setup page.
Veralore will honor opt-out requests as required by law and carrier rules. If a recipient opts out, future SMS nudges may stop even if family members continue sending prompts in the app.
For help, contact support@veralorefamily.com. If supported by the carrier or messaging provider, replying HELP may also provide assistance information.
SMS delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Messages may be delayed, blocked, filtered, or unavailable due to carrier rules, recipient settings, device status, network conditions, provider outages, or compliance requirements.
Veralore's handling of mobile numbers and SMS consent information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Veralore does not sell mobile numbers or share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Veralore may update these SMS Terms by posting a revised version. Continued participation in SMS nudges after an update means acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
